When we think of the soul of rock guitar, most of us have a very specific image in our mind: sweeping lines, exciting maple tops, a single cutaway, and a burst that seems to burn just as hot as the solo pouring straight out of a wall of amps pierces into your heart.
Based on these legendary objects of desire, the Maybach Lester models are interpretations of a classic handcrafted in Europe. They embody authenticity in terms of look, feel and sound and celebrate decades of experience in guitar making.
All models of the Maybach Lester have one thing in common: a mahogany neck with an elegant rosewood or ebony fretboard with a historically correct 12” radius and 22 Wagner 9662 medium jumbo (equivalent to 6105) frets is glued into a mahogany body that is adorned with an exciting maple top. The scale is LP-typical at 24.75” (628mm). Tune-O-Matic bridges and Gotoh SD-90 tuners with authentic tulip heads, which are lightly reliced for better grip, ensure intonation and tuning stability.
